Kind labels describe provenance. A UN agency, a national statistics office, a university, and an industry body are not equally disinterested. Read accordingly.
Cited-by lists show exactly which ledger rows rest on each source, and link back to them.
Verification status lives on the ledger rows. A source being linked here is not a claim that it was re-checked. The badges on the ledger tell you that.
